Following Embark’s acquisition of ATS, my role and remit as Senior Dealer continued within the business.Key Responsibilities and Achievements:• Serving as the subject matter expert (SME) for dealing for Stocktrade, supporting the implementation of new and existing developments.• Contributed to process improvements, documentation reviews, and testing activities to enhance operational efficiency.• Executed client orders for professional clients, ensuring accuracy and adherence to best execution standards.• Acted as deputy to the Dealing Team Manager, overseeing daily operations and ensuring a consistently high-quality service to clients.• Functioned as a point of escalation for complex or technical issues arising on the desk.• Delivered training and mentoring to team members to build capability and consistency.• Conducted daily control checks in the absence of the Dealing Manager.• Provided instrument expertise and guidance as required by business needs.• Supported operational acceptance testing (OAT) during client migrations to ensure smooth transitions.• Produced and delivered management information (MI) to the Dealing Manager and senior executives as required.
