As the founder and CEO of Honolulu Fish Company, I have been leading the wholesale division of the largest fresh fish supplier in the United States for over 28 years. With a background in marine biology and biological oceanography, I have a deep passion and expertise for sustainable seafood and quality assurance. I have developed and implemented innovative processes and standards to ensure the freshness, authenticity, and traceability of our products, as well as trained and built a team of dedicated and skilled professionals. I have also contributed to the industry and the public by publishing articles, providing tips, and winning awards on topics such as mislabeling, packaging, and food safety. My mission is to provide the best seafood experience to our customers, while also protecting and respecting the marine ecosystem and the people who depend on it.
