In 2018, I joined Mobysoft to initially build and lead the engineering teams as a Software Development Manager. The remit was to manage and build the engineering team which was immature in structure and experience. I built the engineering function from a single inexperienced team delivering a single product, to four mature independent teams composed of nearshore augmented and in-house resources, across 2 products and multiple modules. Promotion in 2021 to Director of Engineering took this responsibility further to include QA teams and 2nd line duty to the CTO. In June 2023 I took the role of interim Chief Technology Officer create continuity for the team and the business during a CTO gap. This extended my remit to full CTO responsibilities whilst maintaining continuity and support for the Director of Engineering role.
