Responsible for running the Warehouse when on shift ensuring the efficient and cost effective management. •Own, lead and engage all the shift activity to achieve departmental KPIs. •Ensure H&S standards are kept to the highest of standard inline with company policy• Ensure that effective processes are in place to promote the regular and effective communication to the team of all matters including operational performance, strategy, personal health and safety and training. •Effective resource planning and management to ensure that Labour costs are managed and controlled in line with budgeted plan • Working as part of the warehouse team to ensure the correct standards of work are maintained and assisting with continuous improvement initiatives which will benefit the department and its customers • Lead, develop and inspire the team to continually deliver results and achieve departmental departures. • Oversee the management of the day to day aspects of the warehouse operations, such as administrating the T and A system highlighting and escalating products, shorts and recalls, carrying out investigations and thorough effective resource planning of itinerary in all Departments• Delivering a full loading plan including inbound and outbound loads to multiple destinations across the country • Liasing with Transport, Warehouse and the customer to meet their demanding expectations
