ABOUT WAYNE MOTT

A seasoned professional with 20+ years of hands on SAP experience which includes leading multiple successful full cycle SAP financial and cost management implementation projects. My SAP module focus includes Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) with specific expertise in the areas of financial structure organization (company code, controlling area, companies), managerial accounting (cost & profit center accounting, product costing, managerial reporting), and inventory valuation (product standard and moving average cost calculation). Additionally, I have managed several Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) & Purchase Card Industry (PCI) regulatory compliance projects and is currently focusing on the impacts of the transition to IFRS global standards on US based business/organizations. I have worked in a variety of service (financial services, real estate management, advertising, entertainment, and aerospace & defense) and manufacturing (semi-chip manufacturing, bottle gas processes, food processing/preparation, steel fabrication, carbide powdered metal processing, and paper conversion) environments. I have served in various managerial capacities, developing a broad range of managerial skills and abilities such as issue identification and resolution, resource management and staffing, new business start-up and development, cost reduction/profit enhancement analysis/execution, and analytical decision making. I have been a certified Project Management Professional (PMI–PMP) since August 2005.
