I have over 46 years experience as a marine electrician, including 15 years with the U.S. Navy, and 15 years with the oil & gas industry. For the past 20 years I have taught hazardous area electrical standards, advised companies on compliance - both for use and for construction of equipment - and managed hazardous area inspections / surveys, including the establishment of the very 1st hazardous area training center in the U.S, as well as several follow-on centers doing the same.
