ABOUT WAYNE JONES

During my career in the information technology and cyber security field I have provided management and leadership in IT development, delivery/deployment, security, and management of national level IT systems and services for both Federal and State agencies. During this time, I have demonstrated familiarity with, and expertise in, current and emerging technologies, particularly those used in the cyber security as well as experience in all aspects of IT resource and program management, including budget formulation and execution, resource forecasting, allocation, and utilization, and long and short-range planning. Led the development, oversight, and implementation of product management of vendor services and solutions to improve and enhance organization goals and objectives. These services and solutions focused on vulnerability management, IT hygiene, cloud-based security and threat intelligence services. I have managed information systems and cyber security budgets from to over HIGHLIGHTS• Led development and implementation of the Criterion Systems IT/Cyber services and solutions program, to include cloud-based technologies and infrastructure development.• As Chief Information Officer and Deputy Chief Information Officer, lead the development, oversight and implementation of product services and solutions to enhance organization goals and objectives. • As CIO provided strategic leadership in the areas of information technology, cybersecurity and information management. • Rebuilt the Cybersecurity Program for the National Nuclear Security Administration to focus on both Federal and Maintenance and Operation (M&O) contractor computing environments.• Led the design and implementation of the NNSA classified computing infrastructure to support weapons design.• Established the NNSA Chief Information Officer Counsel, supporting the operational mission goals and objectives of NNSA leadership. • Provided outstanding leadership and vision in the fields of information technology and cybersecurity with focus in the areas of:o Organization structureo Program and Project Managemento Process and People Managemento Budget development and execution ($200M plus)o Policy development and directiono Contract managemento Enterprise architecture (Hardware and Software Delivery)o Technology solutions (Technical Program Management and Project Delivery)
