Pipe Line Contractors Association of Canada (PLCAC) represents Canada’s unionized pipeline contractors who have built and maintain most of Canada’s regulated transmission pipelines and much of the local distribution piping systems. As the Authorized Employer Organization (AEO), PLCAC works closely with four international pipeline trade unions to promote harmonious and effective labour relations, within the provinces and across Canada. PLCAC provides leadership in safety, skills training and pipeline construction best-practices to ensure the industry’s commitment to the quality, reliability and integrity of Canada’s extensive Transmission and Distribution pipeline networks.
