Another new and exciting opportunity in my QinetiQ career, enhancing my knowledge and experience in business Operations and continuing my development in the Maritime & Land domains. Reporting to the Director Operations, Maritime & Land this role brings together operational delivery, technical delivery and overall business delivery, strengthening collaborative delivery between the Business Unit teams and Operations communities. This position is the formal Deputy for Director Operations, Maritime & Land. As Head of Operations, the role is focused on the leadership of Maritime & Land operation, driving operational excellence, safety leadership, and operational efficiency. The role is a focal point for operational change initiatives, and will control and oversee the operational management system to deliver on the committed obligations. A key member of the Maritime & Land operational leadership team, the role takes an active interest in all operational matters, ranging from operational expenditure, infrastructure and group property activity, operational delivery and personnel leadership.
