About Wayne Dunne
With over 10 years of experience in the cloud computing industry, and over 20 years in messaging, I am a senior manager at AWS, today leading product management and technical program management functions for Amazon Simple Email Service. During my time at Amazon I have launched new services, teams, and managed engineering teams across multiple geographic locations. I have a passion for delivering customer-centric solutions that are scalable, reliable, and secure. My education is in law, where I have studied in both Europe and US, which gives me a unique perspective on the legal and regulatory aspects of cloud services. I founded and sold a business in the email space. I also have an ITIL V3 Foundation certification, which demonstrates my understanding of IT service management best practices.In my current role, I manage a team of product managers and technical program managers who are responsible for engineering, email deliverability, and Trust and Safety for Amazon Simple Email Service. I oversee the development and launch of new features and enhancements, as well as the resolution of customer issues and escalations. I am responsible for email deliverability for Amazon.com. I collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including engineering, marketing, sales, and support teams, to ensure alignment and coordination of product vision and strategy. I enjoy working with a diverse and talented team of professionals who share my commitment to innovation and excellence.
