About Wayne Denny

Wayne Denny has over 30 years of experience in business development, leadership, and growth. He is currently the Executive Vice President of Parallax Advanced Research. Parallax is dedicated to applying the latest technical advances to progress solutions for the Nation\'s most challenging problems.Prior to joining Parallax, Wayne was President and CEO of M-7 Technologies. M-7 Technologies is focused on elevating the quality of life for all through heavy industrial repair and services. Previous roles include President of CECO Environmental’s Fluid Solutions business segment, covering the Dean, Fybroc, Sethco, and Mefiag brands. Under his leadership, the Fluid Solutions team achieved excellent results: revenue up 26%, EBITDA up 37%, and FCF up 49%. Before coming to CECO, he was the General Manager – Strategic Marketing (Aerospace and Defense) for The Timken Company. In this role, he drove 40% revenue expansion and added 700 basis points to profit.Prior to CECO, Wayne was with The Timken Company with roles including General Manager – Aerospace Continuous Improvement and New Product Development; General Manager Innovation and Product Technology (R&D); and Chief Engineer Aerospace, Defense, and Critical Motion. In his role as Global Manager – Motion Sensor Systems Wayne developed and launched a line of electromechanical solutions from the R&D center, capturing safety critical positions globally on automotive vehicles. In the preceding 10 years, Wayne led teams that designed, implemented, and ran off major products and manufacturing systems. These items have generated over $1B in lifetime revenue. Being a lifelong learner, Mr. Denny earned his MBA from the Williamson College of Business - Youngstown State University and a BS from Mount Union College, majoring in Physics, Mathematics, and Computer Science. He also earned an Executive Education certificate from The Darden School of Business – University of Virginia. In furthering educational opportunities for students, Wayne is the inaugural Chair of the Executive Advisory Board and helped launch the School of Engineering at the University of Mount Union and has been on the Board of Directors for Argonaut (a non-profit running the Davis Aerospace and Maritime school for the city of Cleveland). Mr. Denny also served as the Chairman of the Board for the Ohio Aerospace Institute and as a board member for Parallax Advanced Research.Mr. Denny has been awarded 10 patents and holds 5 major industry awards for new product development and introduction.
