After completing his B Com at the University of Johannesburg in 2003, Wayne began a 6 month internship at OMD South Africa before joining Nota Bene, one of the market\'s most exciting agencies at the time.In 2010, Wayne took the leap and joined GroupM\'s MEC (now Wavemaker) in Sydney, Australia working with a dynamic team and helping grow the agency into an influential player in the market. Wayne enjoyed many successes such as being appointed onto the MFA committee, judging the MFA awards and even winning a number of Golds as well as B&T\'s Campaign of the year in 2012.After a short stint with MEC in South Africa, Wayne moved into the Managing Director role at PHD helping grow the business from a solid startup in 2013 to a top 5 regional powerhouse with wins such as Unilever, MTN and VW. Wayne enjoyed many accolades including MOST Awards Agency Rising Star in 2014, Agency of the Year in 2016, AMASA Awards 20••••18, SCOPEN Agency of the Year and most influential media person in 2020/21.
