ABOUT WAYMOND CHEN
Having worked as a technical lead, I am experienced in designing and developing complex applications whilst working collaboratively with other leads and cross-functional teams to deliver product features successfully.I started my career in the early by teaching bloggers how to personalise their blogs with code snippets. After that, I pursued a Bachelor\'s in computer engineering and a Master\'s in robotics. Since then, I have worked as a full-stack software engineer globally. I also enjoy mentoring others early in their software development journey to hone my skills working at all stack levels.I believe in test-driven development to mitigate technical risks and write more elegant and intuitive code. Furthermore, creating thorough and coherent design documents enables stakeholders to understand implementation decisions better. When coupled with agile best practices and a well-maintained CI/CD pipeline, the most critical issues are tackled first, making sustainable rapid deployment possible.
