Develop the written program for the food safety management system, including CFIA (FSEP & QMP), HACCP, SQF and BRC.• Assist the client in the implementation of the food safety management system• Provide scientific, technical and regulatory support as per client’s request, regarding product safety and/or quality• Develop the microbiological sampling program, including process awareness, environmental monitoring, poultry products sampling and imported meat inspection etc.• Perform an internal audit• Design, validate and reassess the shelf-life of products and CCPs (cooking, cooling, thawing etc.) to ensure that the critical limit, monitoring methods and frequency are effective to control the hazard• Provide the food safety risk assessment of the modified processing step and/or new product as requested by the client• Act as a primary point of contact between the client and CFIA Inspector• Review the product label as per client’s request• Handle customer compliant as per client’s request• Provide a food hygiene and technical training to the client’s employee• Identify gaps and assist the client during CFIA audit and 3rd party audit• Manage and execute projects as assigned
