ABOUT WASSIM MELAKHESSOU

As a Software Engineer at Salesforce, I design and implement core features for Anypoint Code Builder, enhancing the developer experience through VS Code integrations and cloud-native capabilities. I optimize code editor performance, improving responsiveness and reducing latency in real-time collaboration and debugging. I also develop scalable backend services in Java, integrating them with TypeScript-based frontends to streamline API interactions and ensure seamless data synchronization. In addition, I lead the development of key IDE extensions, enabling efficient MuleSoft project management and cloud deployments directly within the IDE. I collaborate with product managers and UX/UI designers to refine the developer workflow and improve usability across the Anypoint platform. Previously, I designed, developed, and maintained test automation frameworks for MuleSoft platform components, improving test coverage and significantly reducing manual testing efforts. I also expanded and refined test suites, implementing new test scenarios and improving code coverage using SonarQube and other tools. I hold a Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science from the University of Algiers 3 and a Year Up Certificate in Computer Science (AWS) from Year Up. I am passionate about learning new technologies and solving complex problems.
