About Wasim Mohideen
Long before \"biohacking\" and \"longevity\" were buzzwords, I was measuring hsCRPs and running HBOTs in my clinic. That was 2012.I\'m a preventive and longevity physician, trained in allopathy, functional medicine, lifestyle medicine, Ayurveda, and acupuncture. Not to practice all of them, but to think across all of them. I\'ve spent 15 years watching what actually moves the needle for patients, and it\'s rarely the thing that\'s trending.Outside the clinic, I ran a food blog called Chennai Foody for 15 years with about 50k monthly readers at its peak. Food isn\'t separate from my medicine. It\'s central to it. The way I think about a biryani and the way I think about a glucose spike are the same kind of thinking.Along the way: built Techmed (India\'s first dedicated hospital lab management company, scaled to 82 locations across India, Sri Lanka and Nigeria), founded Doc Crates (IIT-K India Top 10 Startups 2023, acquired May 2023), and now serve as Chief Medical & Wellness Officer at Deep Holistics.I write about longevity, food, medicine, and the trade-offs nobody talks about at docwaz.com.
