Over the past 20 years, I helped build technologies and more than 10 successful industrial products that are currently in mass production with happy customers installed in Canada & United States. Some of my designs have been working in the field for more than 10 years > 1 million units. I helped in saving product hardware development costs by >40%, development time by >50% and increase ROI.I help people & organizations to translate their ideas into successful products.Electronics/ Hardware/ System design engineer experienced in electronics product development and new product introduction (NPI), designing and delivering a variety of products like: Industrial IoT, Edge computing, battery powered wireless sensors, LTE-M/SAT devices, tracking units, environmental monitoring, etc. Focusing on circuit and system design, with an emphasis on Edge/AI, low power embedded system design.Leading the technical aspects of projects: Evaluating customer requirements and operational use cases to define and decompose system functional and performance requirements. Developing and designing system architectural design trade-off studies. Designed industrial Edge products for oil & gas industry and smart metering applications that are comprised of analog/digital circuits with wired/wireless interfaces while maintaining EMI/SI, DFM & DFT principles. Working closely with firmware, manufacturing & mechanical engineers to fine tune the details during design & production. Managing overseas contractors, interfacing with regulatory bodies CSA/IEC until successful field installs. Experienced in startups and bringing products to market.
