As a Design Engineer, I am responsible for Designing, Updating, and Optimizing plant layouts for new food production lines for leading brands such as Tuscan Brands, Olive Garden, BJ’s, Trader Joe’s, Market Basket, Factor and other companies.Lead the planning and redesign of production layouts to ensure seamless workflow from raw materials through to finished products.Apply advanced engineering and design principles to enhance operational efficiency, safety, and productivity across food manufacturing processes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new product lines into existing facilities while minimizing disruptions.Research, evaluate, and coordinate with equipment suppliers to select and implement machinery that meets performance, quality, and hygiene standards.Conduct detailed assessments of machinery and production systems to ensure compliance and optimal functionality prior to deployment.Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing plant efficiency, reducing bottlenecks, and supporting scalable growth.
