As the Head of the Education Program at Development Consortium, I lead high-impact education and well-being initiatives across five states, Uttarakhand, Delhi, Haryana, Assam, and Tamil Nadu, driving both systemic and grassroots-level change in school ecosystems.Uttarakhand: Through Project Abhyuday, we have partnered with Samagra Shiksha to institutionalize Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) in public education. Collaborating closely with SCERT and DIETs in Dehradun and Haridwar, our team designs and implements SEL-focused teacher trainings and student workshops rooted in the Anandam Curriculum.Delhi: Under Project TeenBook, we’re pioneering a first-of-its-kind mental well-being screening initiative across 50 affordable private schools to identify at-risk students and deliver early interventions. We also build capacity among teachers, parents, and school leaders to create safe and supportive environments for adolescent mental health.Simultaneously, we are working with the Directorate of Education (DoE) and SCERT Delhi to implement the Teacher Development Coordinator (TDC) Program across 1,080 government schools, fostering peer-led teacher communities for continuous professional development.Haryana: In Rewari district’s Bawal block, we are elevating the quality of education in 25 government schools through comprehensive school transformation efforts, revamping libraries, promoting physical education, conducting life skills workshops, and introducing digital classrooms to make learning more inclusive and dynamic.Pan-India Tangible Interventions: Across 100+ schools in five states, we’ve executed tangible infrastructure upgrades, installing digital smart screens to enhance classroom engagement and revitalizing libraries with custom shelving and over 500 curated books per school. These strategic interventions have empowered thousands of children with enriched, equitable, and engaging learning spaces
