Providing comprehensive SharePoint support for over faculty and staff at California State University (CSU), across both on-premises and SharePoint Online environments, while also managing the external-facing SharePoint system for calstate.edu.Key responsibilities include:• Server Management: Manage and maintain over 50 SharePoint servers across multiple farms, ensuring high availability, performance, and disaster recovery.• Infrastructure Oversight: Administer hybrid SharePoint infrastructure across on-prem and cloud environments, including user access and enterprise deployments.• System Maintenance and Security: Handle installation, configuration, patching, security hardening, backups, and maintenance for all SharePoint systems.• Technical Support: Manage the SharePoint Online tenant, troubleshoot advanced issues, and deliver scalable solutions.• Project Execution: Lead SharePoint initiatives such as upgrades, enterprise integrations, and third-party tool deployments.• Administrative Support: Perform site provisioning, user training, data restore, and support for end-user issues.• Large-Scale Migration: Led the migration of 1,600+ SharePoint on-premises sites to SharePoint Online with minimal disruption and high data integrity.• Content Migration: Migrated content from SharePoint on-prem, Dropbox, Google Drive, Aardvark, and local drives to SharePoint Online using SharePoint Migration Tool (SPMT) and ShareGate.• System Monitoring: Conduct daily health checks, performance analysis, and proactive troubleshooting to ensure environment stability.• Subject Matter Expertise: Act as SharePoint SME, advising on governance, architecture, and best practices.• Continuous Learning: Stay current with Microsoft 365 innovations and SharePoint trends to align with business needs.• Analytical Skills: Apply sound judgment and problem-solving to meet IT goals on time and with quality.
