Dr. Meg Warren is a researcher, author, and keynote speaker exploring the intersection of allyship and well-being across organizations, institutions, and cultures worldwide. A social-organizational psychologist, she employs a culturally-responsive and wellbeing-centered approach to understand how people rise as effective allies in diverse contexts. Her widely cited and award-recognized research has informed scholarship and practice globally. She has published more than 60 journal articles and book chapters, edited 2 books, and writes for the Psychology Today column, Better and Happier: The positive psychology of impactful and joyful allyship. Her work has been covered by 300+ media outlets, in 30+ countries, and translated or presented in 10+ languages. She has delivered keynotes and invited speeches across a range of industries, including non-profit, higher education, consumer products, healthcare, financial services, automotives, public services, and property development.A named Fulbright Specialist, Dr. Warren has conducted research or advised projects in 10+ countries, exploring allyship in contexts ranging from STEM professionals and blue-collar workers in North America, to child soldiers in Congo, descendants of indentured laborers in Fiji, and landlords in the slums of Kenya. Dr. Warren is a Professor of Management at Western Washington University and a Faculty Affiliate of the Center for Positive Organizations at the University of Michigan. She has served as a Visiting Fellow at the University of South Pacific, Fiji, and as a Visiting Scholar at CFK Africa and Kenyatta University in Kenya. Dr. Warren also mentors emerging thought leaders through The Op-Ed Project and serves on the boards of non-profits advancing equity and inclusion.
