ABOUT WARREN CHEN
I am deeply passionate about sustainability and entrepreneurship, learning new things, and travelling the world. Community and passion is the center of everything I do. Since 12, I\'ve been building projects and community.Some fun things I do:• Created a low-cost water filtration bottle that filters 99% of bacteria/parasites/heavy metals, novel sustainable packaging material from pineapple leaf fibers, research paper on environmental effects of high-powered computing• Currently researching biochemical redox flow batteries and flexible self-healing zinc-ion batteries• Started volunteering during the pandemic: sandwich making, community clean-ups, church camps, etc. • At 13, identified a gap in stem education/research and founded Spark Labs to provide hands-on access to fun learning for all. • Founded, built a curriculum, and taught a year-long badminton program for young adolescents at my local church My Interests: Badminton, Baking/Cooking, Hiking, Photography, Guitar English | Mandarin | Cantonese
