About Warren Schick
Hello, I am an acupuncturist, East Asian Medicine practitioner, strength and conditioning specialist, and the founder of Active Points Wellness. If you are considering us for your care it is likely that you are in a state discomfort or pain. I understand how debilitating and disruptive acute or chronic health conditions can be physically, mentally, and emotionally. I also understand the effect it has on those important to you - your family, friends, co-workers, and community. Since 1998 I have been working in health and fitness as a strength and conditioning specialist. During that time, I observed how many people live in constant discomfort and pain. This pain doesn’t only manifest in the physical as knee pain, headaches, cramps, indigestion, muscle tension, etc, but also as mental and emotional discomfort, such as depression and anxiety. I decided to study Chinese medicine because I wanted to help people on a much deeper level. In Chinese medicine, we do not treat symptoms of disease, but rather each unique individual and the interactions of their physical, mental, emotional manifestations. It is a truly holistic perspective that leads to truly effective and lasting results. Drawing from many complimentary techniques and adjunctive therapies, including acupuncture, corrective exercise prescription, Chinese herbal medicine, Tui Na bodywork, acupressure, cupping, auriculotherapy, and dietary and lifestyle recommendations, I use every tool at my disposal to bring your body back into balance, and help you find optimal wellness. My patients are at the heart of my practice as they make up the heart of my community. I am here to be your guide, coach, and leader. I am here to help you reach new heights of wellness.
