ABOUT WARREN HARVEY

My business cards say such things as career toxicologist, board certified, biologist and manager. But when you get right down to it, I’m much more - I’m a troubleshooter, a programme manager, a report writer, a drug candidate strategist and a toxicology geek (ask me anything about mini pigs or nonhuman primates).I’m also a big believer in the power of communication and team work. I believe that we, as drug developers, don’t get drugs to market as individuals but by a team of people all working to the same common goal - to significantly improve the quality of life for patients. Whether dealing with small- to -mid-sized pharmaceutical companies or start-ups and venture-backed and other virtual organizations (as well as hybrids of these), I’ve always adopted the same approach to be honest and transparent as we collaborate ultimately working towards the success of the company.I’ve been incredibly fortunate as I work alongside fantastic people who collectively make work a great place to be every day. I’m proud to have played an integral element to the development and approval of novel therapies to treat conditions with significant unmet medical need and commercial potential. The path to market is unpredictable but with a flexible and adaptable approach to deal with bumps in the road its one heck of a roller coaster ride.Specialties include: Toxicology, nonclinical study design, vendor selection and study management, due diligence and gap analysis, troubleshooting and data interpretation, strategic development planning, nonclinical sections for regulatory submissions (IND, CTA, NDA, MAA), representation at regulatory agency meetings.
