A good chunk of that time was executing construction and facilities sustainment projects throughout the Pacific Rim, in Alaska, Japan, Korea, Guam, Australia, Tinian, Hawaii, Wake Island, and other locations.I\'m well-versed in writing and speaking, in communicating with civic leaders, foreign government representatives, and in preparing and delivering proposals, updates and informative presentations. I\'ve supervised groups of all sizes, from small teams to 1,200+ member facilities maintenance organizations. I enjoy talking to people, understanding what drives them (and what doesn\'t) and building workplaces that are productive and nurturing to the individual. I truly believe that you focus on people, so that they can focus on the mission, and I\'ve incorporated that into my leadership DNA.I\'m a proud member of the Society of American Military Engineers and was honored to become part of the Academy of Fellows in 2018. I plan to continue my association and provide the same great support and camaraderie I\'ve received over the years.
