About Ward Alles

After graduating with a Bachelor\'s degree in Mass Communications from Concordia University Wisconsin in 1989, Ward began his advertising career originally as a copywriter, working for two of Wisconsin’s leading business-to-business agencies. Just five years into his career, Ward immediately applied his leadership and entrepreneurial skills and helped form Core Creative Inc, an integrated branding agency, with two business partners. While he still services a handful of accounts directly, his primary goal now is to help guide the agency’s direction and business development efforts in the area of brand alignment. Core\'s philosophy of creating brand alignment (\"Say It/Live It\") both inside and outside of a company assists clients in packaging up their purpose in a way that connects at a human level (meaningful, authentic) that is relevant to both employees and customers alike.During Ward\'s presidency, Core has grown into a Top 7 agency in the Greater Milwaukee area, employing over 80 marketing communications professionals and serving clients around the country.Ward is an active member of the business community, including a 15-year membership in TEC, a 20-year commitment to the Council of Small Business Executive\'s CEO Roundtable.Ward currently serves on the board of the Lutheran High School Association of Greater Milwaukee\'s Foundation.In the past, Ward has also served on the board of directors for First Stage Children’s Theater, GPS Education Partners, Brookfield Lutheran Church. and has been called on to guest lecture at both Marquette University, Milwaukee School of Engineering and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
