About Wardah Shabbir
I am a first-year forensic science graduate student at Virginia Commonwealth University and am deeply involved in both my coursework and research. I have extensive laboratory experience in organic/inorganic chemistry, biology, physics, genetics, quantitative analysis, pattern evidence, drug chemistry, and forensic serology. My laboratory experience, along with my undergraduate research projects in biochemistry, environmental science, and controlled substances have fueled my passion for scientific discovery, especially in areas that can impact public health and safety. I am currently specializing in drug chemistry and toxicology, and am eager to continue expanding my knowledge and making meaningful contributions in this field.
