About Ward Simmons

I provide general counsel and environmental law services to public agencies. My niche is the Endangered Species Act — especially helping clients navigate mitigation requirements associated with impacts from development. This includes conservation easements and due diligence related to land for habitat conservation plans, mitigation banks and in-lieu fee programs. I find my areas of practice to be rewarding and meaningful, and I am glad to serve the Inland Empire community in a way that will protect open space for our children, and their children. That’s a huge legacy my clients and I are entrusted with, and I’m proud to work with local agencies to ensure the native habitats and species are protected.
