About Wanneh A. Dixon
With over 15 years of experience in healthcare, international development, and social justice, I am passionate about integrating a social justice lens into population health. At Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS), I leverage my expertise in health equity, social determinants of health, and patient engagement to create impactful strategies and resources that elevate BMS\' commitment to health equity and improve patient outcomes across diverse and underserved populations. My career journey has been driven by the desire to contribute to something greater than myself, inspired by my parents\' emigration story from Liberia to the US. I lived in Liberia for five years, leading me down a path of self-discovery and providing the global perspective that is part of my personal and professional life. I have worked in various roles and sectors, from IT project management and management consulting, to post-war reconstruction and humanitarian advocacy, to healthcare innovation and thought leadership. In these roles, I have championed solutions that address inequality, poverty, education, and health disparities and fostered collaboration, inclusion, and transformation. I am also a mom of an Autistic son who inspired me to found the CDOT Autism Center, a former board chair at the Human Services Advisory Commission, and a lifelong learner with an MA in Global Development and Social Justice. I\'m always looking to grow my personal and professional network. Feel free to connect via LinkedIn or contact me directly at w••••••@gmail.com.
