About Han Wang
I received my bachelor degree of International Economics and Trades from University of International and Relations in Beijing. I received my master degree of Business Analytics in Fordham University, New York. My keen interest of data science field has been greatly aroused during graduate studies. I am also working as a graduate assistant for the director of this program and is a fellow of Center of Digital Transformation at Fordham. In 2014, I worked in association with New York City Hall on a project named Improve Capital Projects Management in NYC. Analytical thinking, Tableau, text mining and project management were the skills used in this project. The goal of this project was to find out common characteristics of delayed or over budget projects and to provide recommendations to authorities to better regulate and manage projects. This is a 6-month-long project and was finished in the end of June. Apart from that, I also have experiences in conducting other analytics-related projects such as real-world based data mining project on health, Wharton People Analysis Competition, etc. Personally, I find considerable excitement to analyze the data, to unearth the hidden layers and to draw solid conclusions. I am currently working as a Data Scientist Associate Consultant at ZS Associates.
