The Legacy Project, Inc, is a 501(c)(3) national nonprofit organization that seeks to build sustainable, intergenerational connections as a means to combat social isolation, preserve the life histories of older adults, engage young individuals in revolutionizing perspectives on aging, and ensure that every older adult—regardless of background—has the opportunity to share their experiences in the form of a published book. TLP was born out of Tufts University through the United Nations’ Academic Impact Millennium Fellowship, an international, highly-competitive, student-led effort to advance the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals- Co-founded and built TLP from the initial concept to national presence over 5 years, establishing a strategic vision, mission, and comprehensive operational framework- Scaled operations to 20+ University chapters across 12+ states, directly overseeing multiple chapters while maintaining program quality and consistency- Led recruitment and hiring processes, building and managing high-performing teams across multiple locations- Developed and executed marketing, branding, and PR/media relations strategies to amplify TLP\'s visibility and mission impact- Maintained ongoing communication with key stakeholders, including a 12-member Board of Advisors, senior community partners, and team members to ensure alignment and continuous support- Invited/Attended/Presented at 5+ national conferences, positioning TLP as a leader in intergenerational programming and age-positive advocacy/companionship care.
