ABOUT WANDA TILLER
I love connecting with people, and I have been told I am good at it. My previous role as Director of Industry Engagement allowed me to connect students and graduates of the software development program to industry leaders so that they understood the tremendous opportunity the tech sector has to offer. Collaborating with industry partners on projects, learning about new innovations, creating scholarship opportunities, bridging the tech gap, facilitating women in tech opportunities, the list goes on. I am excited about what is happening right now in our province and I will work tirelessly to help people transition into the tech space. I also provided leadership for training delivery operations collaborating with the senior leadership team on operational logistics, planning, implementation and evaluation of programs. Prior to this, I spent 12 years in leadership roles with both private and public sector. Primarily, I was a people manager of technical staff as well as Project Resource Manager for technical projects. I have worked in 4 educational institutions in both Newfoundland and Nova Scotia primarily focused in technical training. I have also done significant work in recruitment, career development and vendor management and relations as well.
