ABOUT WALTON SUE
I am a senior TV executive and strong leader with a reputation and flair for creative renewal, leading teams through change and nurturing production and on screen talent. As executive producer I\'ve led successful re-launches on several live flagship shows and established others as bankers in the schedule. I have a wealth of experience in live television and since ITV secured the licence two years ago have executive produced Oscars Live for ITV and ITVX. I\'ve also produced several documentaries, including Grierson nominated Alison Hammond: Back to School for ITV\'s first Black History Month, Jacqueline Jossa: Me and Periods and Lorraine Kelly: 40 Unforgettable Years. I also oversaw the development and launch of returning series John and Lisa\'s Weekend Kitchen, which I executive produce. In my current role I\'m on the leadership team in my department and the SLT at ITV. I have been responsible for driving new growth through brand partnerships and brand extensions of ITV Studios live flagship daytime shows - which have included creative partnerships on ad campaigns with Samsung, Voltarol, WW, Estee Lauder and Macmillan. Alongside best-selling books, brand extensions have included events - Loose Women Live tour and This Morning Live. I\'ve complemented my experience in production with two successful stints in commissioning. I was VP, Commissioning, Scripps UK and EMEA forFood Network and Travel Channel. I also thoroughly enjoyed bringing my production experience to a prior commissioning role across the lifestyle channels at UKTV.One of the most rewarding aspects of my job is nurturing and mentoring - it\'s part of my everyday informally but I also mentor formally. I play an active role in influencing outcomes to create an inclusive workplace and maximise skills development and opportunities. I\'m a mentor with Creative Access, Wonder Women and am an advocate ITV\'s Rise scheme. I\'m also a member of ITV\'s Women\'s Network and my department\'s Diversity steering group. I have a reputation for leading successful and lasting change. I love working in the creative sphere with people and making things happen!
