Mr Schuppe is seasoned commercial finance executive with 30+ years of diversified credit, lending, portfolio and general management experience. He has direct operational experience as a General Manager of a highly engineered, precision metal stamping company and as a Crisis Manager of a manufacturer of frozen novelties. He has extensive experience assisting management teams of middle market businesses successfully work through financial and operational difficulties. Has successfully completed complex restructurings and bankrupticies, and successfully executed liquidations to maximize collateral values. Mr Schuppe is currently the Managing Director of the Special Assets Group at Pacific Western Bank. Since 2006 his group has resolved $1.2 billion in commitments at 89.9% of value. Most recently Mr. Schuppe lead a team of bankers to enhance the credit quality of the venture banking portfolio by resolving $245MM at 98% of par over an 18 month period. He also served as Chief Credit Officer for European lending operations which focused on senior cash flow and mezzanine lending. The mezzanine portfolio suffered no losses during the 2008 downturn. Mr Schuppe is the Treasurer of the not-for-profit SEALKIDS. He is also the founder of Faces of Freedom, a photojournalistic collection of black and white portraits and personal histories of U.S military veterans. Mr Schuppe is also Certified Public Accountant.
