Working with the Director of IT, partner with the business process owners to obtain and maintain an in-depth knowledge of Mattel business processes with attention to opportunities to champion improvement – both via process re-engineering and from automation through technology. o Help solve business problems utilizing technology as an enabler. • Develop relationships with key business stakeholders, serve as the “face of IT” and business liaison in support of business applications, initiatives and projects • Maintain effective knowledge of the Product Information Systems and Global Brands design and planning processes as well as thorough awareness of trends and developments of emerging technologies, evaluating all for appropriateness and benefit to organization. o Processes include eTailer enablement, line architecture, product design, brand portfolio reporting. • Manage multiple projects/initiatives to coordinate implementation and deliverables necessary for successful project execution. • Generate Business Value. In collaboration with our business, develop business requirement and business case documents along with financial justification and ROI for all strategic initiatives. • As key enabler of new business processes, develop “as is” and “to be” process flows. • Will lead User Acceptance testing to ensure that the system addresses the business requirements from the user’s point of view. • Coordinate Organization Change Management(OCM) to champion change (in alignment with the future state.) • Evaluate timing of software version upgrades and facilitate migrations. • Partner with GIT Client Services to ensure timely and effective break/fix and add/change services.
