With a background in education and media, I bring a wealth of experience to the table as a media educator. Currently serving as a Broadcast Coordinator at Lynn University, I coordinate a variety of media projects while fostering an environment of creativity and excellence.Previously, I was the Media Production and Broadcast Journalism teacher at NSU University School in Fort Lauderdale. There, I curated dynamic curriculum and implemented extracurricular initiatives that left a lasting impact on the program. Notably, I introduced two weekly student-produced shows, one of which has received 2 national awards from the Student Television Network, several student production awards from the Suncoast Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) and introduced a live sports broadcast program, enhancing the experiential educational experience and elevating the quality of student-generated content.My expertise spans across various facets of media production and journalism, encompassing video shooting, editing, conducting interviews, and consistently delivering top-tier content. Proficient in Adobe Creative programs and Final Cut Pro, I bring a versatile skill set to every project.I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from Salem State University in Salem Massachusetts. Beginning in Boston, I honed my communication and media skills through internships with TV news stations such as WCVB and 7NEWS WHDH. Transitioning into the educational realm, I shot, edited, and reported on school district happenings for Plymouth EDTV. I continued working in community media and education at PACTV, serving as assistant news director and reporter for their weekly TV show, PACTV Community News (PCN). In my role at PACTV, I also worked as an educational media specialist in the Pembroke Schools leading the media program, instructing students in media production. I directed media coverage for school events, including concerts, graduations, and the school\'s news show.Throughout my career, I\'ve worked on numerous freelance projects, further refining my expertise in media production and journalism.    Support video production, editing, and live broadcasting for citywide communications and programming. Work closely with the various departments to create engaging, high-quality multimedia content for internal use, social platforms, and the city’s government channel.Key Responsibilities:Assist in the production of multi-camera live broadcasts for City Council meetings, community forums, and special events.Capture and edit photo/video/audio content using Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Audition, Adobe Lightroom, Final Cut Pro, and Photoshop to support city initiatives.Operate and maintain professional studio and field equipment, including PTZ cameras, audio gear, switchers, and lighting.Help streamline production workflows, organize assets, and develop repeatable systems for recurring content.Maintain gear inventory and provide basic tech support and onboarding for internal users and interns.Collaborate with multiple city departments to produce content that strengthens community outreach and civic engagement.Participate in content planning and post-production workflows, ensuring delivery meets technical and creative standards.
