Adjunct Instructor @University Of Mary Washington
As an adjunct professor, I’ve had the privilege of teaching a variety of courses, both in lecture halls and laboratory settings. I maintain Canvas based courses including class syllabus, class calendar, assignments, labs, quizzes, exams, and special assignments. I instruct in-person two times a week plus a lab one or two times a week depending on the semester. I complete modifications and updates to the existing curriculum on file at UMW, including the incorporation of new material for class lectures and labs. I develop and administer laboratory exercises to inspire student participation and learning. I demonstrated proper laboratory technique and successfully disseminate information and techniques to all students.• Environmental and Ecological Systems• Environmental Sustainability & Sustainability Lab • Oceanography & Oceanography LabIn all these courses, my goal is to pass on knowledge and inspire a sense of stewardship for our environment. I encouraged students to think critically, ask questions, and become informed advocates for a sustainable future.
