Medical Bridges is a lean non-profit that ships desperately needed surplus medical equipment and supplies donated by Houston and San Antonio area hospitals to clinics to hospitals in countries in crisis and throughout the developing world. In 2023 & 2024, Medical Bridges provided over 500 tons of medical materials worth $24 million throughout the world where healthcare gaps are dire. Medical Bridges has served 106 countries since founded in 1997. Medical Bridges has provided masks and other PPE to our neighbors in Texas during the coronavirus pandemic and was the first to ship medical supplies to the GRB Convention Center after Harvey. Medical Bridges is the only organization in Texas accredited by the MedSurplus Alliance for international relief. Medical Bridges continues to expand its global humanitarian mission and further serve the rural poor in Texas and in the US.
