Open Banking Shared Services (OBSS) is an AWS hosted platform that provides Open APIs to customers globally, conforming to the Open Banking regulatory requirements of each country and market. I was hired to redesign the OBSS platform on AWS to increase speed to market and to reduce costs. As the first step in the journey I have redesigned the current market specific MI solutions globally by: 1. Consolidating AWS accounts 2. Consolidating codebases 3. Introducing Docker and Kubernetes The next phase, which involves moving the rest of the platform to the new architecture, is currently underway.
