Inaugural Head of International Tax at Visa, following the group\'s transformation from a bank owned, not-for-profit association to a for-profit enterprise. Responsible for all tax aspects of Visa’s international operations, comprising over $9 billion in revenues and offices in 69 countries. Built and collaborate with team of diverse and exceptionally talented professionals located in Foster City, London, Singapore, Miami, Dubai and Toronto to support all international tax functions, including design and implementation of tax strategies; general business unit support; contract review; partnering with economic development agencies; maintaining positive relationships with tax authorities and resolving any disputes that may arise; development and execution of transfer pricing strategies; digital economy tax policy work; monitoring tax legislation and providing input to lawmakers when appropriate; and routine tax compliance, forecasting and financial statement preparation. Tax lead on acquisitions and dispositions, including Visa Inc.’s acquisition of Visa Europe Ltd for €18.25 billion in 2016.
