My responsibilities include providing therapeutic counseling services as defined by DMHDD guidelines. The position is responsible for therapeutic services to families referred by to CORE Services Program contracted to Bethany Christian Services through the Department of Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities (DMHDD). The program goals include: 1) improve the individual child\'s/adolescent\'s ability to self-recognize and self-manage behavioral health issues, as well as the parent\'s/responsible caregiver\'s capacity to care for their children; 2) provide the therapeutic services directed toward the restoration, development, enhancement or maintenance of functioning of the identified consumer/family unit.
