Working for Microsoft Services for 17 years as a Principal Consultant has been great, probably on par with the 16 years in the Army before that. Ultimately I\'ve learnt a great deal working across a large number of customers with slightly different needs and requirements on common Service Management themes.I\'m planning to do the same type of work I spent 17 years at Microsoft doing, namely hands on Customer focused deliver activities- Service Architect defining new processes and procedures, Defining Service Wrappers for IT Solutions or leading Process Improvement activities to reach the desired future state - Service Transition Leader or Service Delivery Manager - implementing change, with a focus on the IT Operations stream and acceptance into service of the new or changed services
