Analysis Management - Managed three major analysis projects with Navy inventory. Replaced single echelon inventory model with multi-echelon model. Developed demand forecast metric to deal with intermittent demand. Implemented Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) forecasting and inventory levels setting model parameters for the seamless transition of over parts.Process Implementation - Streamlined execution to quickly scope projects for decision-makers to effectively communicate analysis goals, expectations, and requirements.Inventory Positioning - Developed a database that identified customer location when material was ordered, shipped and received. This data was used to create an end-to-end model for trade-off analysis between the costs of transportation and material in positioning $1.2 million dollars of repair parts to maximize operational effectiveness. Transportation Optimization - Improved intra-theater lift and decreased transportation cost with analysis to justify reducing Air Force transportation airlift by four aircraft. Developed analysis methodology to use RFID tag data to create distribution network models of Iraq and Afghanistan and reduce transportation times by 6%. Fuel Use Minimization - Implemented a supply ship scheduling optimization program that minimized fuel use and reduced staff planning time by 85% over manual methods. Change Management - Produced three business transition plans to process map and identify potential issues implementing the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning system. These plans ensured a smooth transition for all Navy inventory (over parts worth over $23 billion dollars) in the areas of forecasting, inventory levels setting and inventory plant management.
