   Wally Danforth joined Janney Capital Management (formerly Parker/Hunter Asset Management) in 1995. A year later he became a Financial Advisor for Janney Montgomery Scott. Wally believes working in a team environment provides a more comprehensive and client service experience for financial/estate planning and portfolio management recommendations. He enjoys the challenge of working with a variety of investors, including individuals, businesses and local foundations.Understanding client\'s risk tolerance, goals, needs and wants are determined initially through the process of developing Retirement Income Evaluation Reports or more comprehensive Financial/Estate Plans. Planning allows for the best opportunity for client\'s achieving financial success. Investment portfolios are recommended through discretionary fee-based Janney Wealth Management platforms. Client portfolios are independently developed to solve for planning requirement through diversification of individual world class money managers. These money managers invest in individual stocks, bonds, ETF\'s and alternatives. Lastly, the team assigns an internally managed client service model of the highest order. Daily team huddles and periodic meetings with internal Specialists keep the client service model on track.A Pittsburgh native, Wally serves on the Board of Trustees at Trinity-Pawling School in Pawling, NY and the Corporate Board for Inclusion Revolution Inc, a Florida not for profit corporation. He is also an active member of the Extra Mile Foundation Fund Raising Board raising funds through individual and Corporate donations. Prior volunteer event and fund raising work includes The Pittsburgh Regional Champions, The Mattress Factory and the Fox Chapel, PA Volunteer Fire Department. Wally enjoys doubles squash, golf, fly fishing and playing drums with a variety of local classic rock bands.
