I moved into corporate, global security in 2007. Since then, I have been investigating and solving security issues; advising on best practices and modern security methodologies; and helping companies, strategic partners, foreign countries, US military/government, stakeholders, and other governments to move forward operationally with minimized risk, fewer threats, and improved opportunities to reach business objectives in a world riddled with security, pandemic, and crisis situations.As the Regional Security Advisor of Shell UAE, in Dubai, I advise a broad group of executives, leaders, partners, and employees across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Currently, I am doing the same for Shell in the Americas region. I develop, plan, implement, and direct global strategy and programs for the protection, safeguarding, and security of employees, intellectual property, integrity, reputation, physical assets, and more with corporate company\'s best interests in mind too.AREAS I CONTRIBUTE TO OPERATIONAL SUCCESS: SECURITY PROGRAMS: Advance security initiatives and program improvements across 70+ countries, including policies and procedures for physical security, theft, sabotage, terrorism, and cybersecurity. INTERNATIONAL COLLABORATION & STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP: Large part of what I do is building relationships with partners and collaboratively plan security strategies with them across the MENA and Americas regions and globally. By doing this, we minimize and prevent security issues so that operations can continue, and employees, families, and guests can be safe. SECURITY & SITUATIONAL TRAINING: I travel throughout the region, coaching, training, and developing teams\' skills in technologies, security plans, and situations so they can be productive at work and in living in areas requiring a certain level of situational awareness.Throughout my career, I have led and worked with diverse domestic and international teams and stakeholders to protect people, maintain safety, and support operations, events, and important life-happenings. I have dealt with all kinds of situations, including negotiating the freedom of a person kidnapped. I am committed to security excellence and continually advance my security knowledge and skills.
