ABOUT WALEED ZARO

I’m a software engineer who enjoys building practical systems and figuring things out end-to-end. Most of my work lives across backend development, data and analytics, and cloud infrastructure—turning messy or vague problems into tools that actually work in the real world. I like being close to the system, whether that’s debugging, improving reliability, or simplifying things so they scale and are easier to use.Outside of my day-to-day engineering work, I’m usually building something on the side. I run Mobile WaterSports, a seasonal jet ski rental business, and I founded National Justice Program (NJP), a community sports organization focused on bringing people together through competition and outreach. Between engineering, running ventures, and organizing teams, I’ve learned how to take ownership, move fast, and adapt quickly. Always happy to connect with people building interesting things or working on ideas that have real impact.
