I love communicating, marketing, and engaging with audiences - governments, stakeholders, business, financial institutions, and non-profits - in both domestic and international contexts.I support and communicate the nation\'s energy interests in the areas of offshore strategic resources, oil and gas, and critical and marine minerals.I promoted safe, sound, and fair banking in the U.S.I worked to reduce the risk of death and injuries from consumer products at the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.With the State Department, I promoted the American image, inter-cultural communication, and human and labor rights. I relayed foreign political risk analysis to inform policy deliberations, and wrote speeches, official statements, briefing papers, and testimony. I led teams, managed programs, coordinated inter-agency deliberations, and worked closely with members of Congress & staff. My main geographic focus area was Latin America, with additional experience in Europe and Africa.I advanced civil rights at the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, an independent, bi-partisan federal agency established by the Civil Rights Act of 1957.I helped improve U.S. academic standards and student achievement, advancing college and career readiness.I love to make connections and support colleagues.
