ABOUT MARCI HOPKINS
Award-Winning Host | Author | Recovery Expert | Inspirational Speaker I am Marci, the creator and host of Wake Up with Marci, a transformative talk show where we inspire others through stories of hope, celebrity insights, education, and essential resources. Our mission is to tackle impactful issues including mental illness, chronic illness, divorce, addiction, trauma, and wellness, among others. My show has been honored with three Telly Awards and two Anthem Awards, reflecting both its impact and my passion for fostering positive change. My journey has been shaped by personal hardships and a powerful transformation. As a survivor of sexual and physical abuse and growing up in a family with alcoholism, I turned to alcohol as a coping mechanism, becoming trapped in a cycle of negativity. Today, I celebrate nine years of sobriety—a testament to resilience and the belief that true happiness is attainable. It is my quest to help others uncover their own path to joy and recovery. I am also the author of Chaos to Clarity: Seeing The Signs and Breaking The Cycles, recognized with the International Impact Book Award for Addiction and Recovery. As a Recovery Expert, my voice resonates on platforms like FOX, CBS, and NBC, sharing positive coping strategies and creating awareness around mental health and addiction. When I look in the mirror, I see a compassionate leader—someone who empathizes deeply and uses her life experiences to engage in meaningful conversations. My caring energy and profound insights inspire guests and viewers alike to take bold steps towards a better future. In addition to my media work, I have hosted fundraisers for organizations such as SWS, raising vital funds for children in New Jersey, and Kumali in Uganda, where I continue to support orphanages. I have earned various accolades, including- Passion Vista Hall of Fame - 2021 Top 25 Leading Women Entrepreneurs - NJSFWC Women’s Achievement Award - 2024 Anthem Awards - 2024 International Impact Book Award - Woman of the Year, Millennium Magazine - Tribute to Women, Boy Scouts of America My work has been featured in esteemed publications like Forbes, Parade Magazine, Authority Magazine, and more, reflecting my commitment to inspiring and empowering others.
