Working in the Vehicle Health Management domain, I look after the entire spectrum of the Data Architecture, Engineering, Governance & Data Science activities based around vehicle diagnostic data. • Establishing & growing data analytics’ capabilities by hiring & coaching data engineers & data scientists, and pioneering the development of the cloud based data analytics platform. • Defining the vision & the strategic roadmap for unlocking customer value via data strategy alignment. • Providing technical leadership for the development of automated data processing pipelines and the alignment of on-board & off-board data processing architectures. • Formulating guidelines & best practices for storage & processing of structured & unstructured data. • Setting up policies & processes for data governance in support of data lifecycle management & ensuring organisational data privacy policy compliance. • Collaborating across multiple business functions to understand their data needs and formulate data storage & processing solutions, and architect & develop data products accordingly. • Managing suppliers for any externally scoped out work & making sure that all requirements are developed as per the specifications & delivered on time.
