ABOUT WAJAHAT KHAN

With over 20 years of experience in the Telecoms and IT sector, I am privileged to be recognised as one of the leading technologists in the sphere of Contact Centre (CC) and Unified Communications (UC) technologies. During this time I have been involved in over 60 technology transformation programmes across the globe. I started my career as a developer and was one of the key developers behind Avaya’s Modular Messenger product. With this background in software development, I am able to work with any technology at the lowest level. I have architected and delivered customised CC & UC solutions for businesses across a range of industry sectors, helping them transform the way they communicate and deliver customer experience. My deep development and integration expertise coupled with knowledge of the leading CC/UC platforms allows me to deliver complex business requirements by integrating disparate technology solutions. My recent focus has been on the automation of contact centre processes through self-service solutions, ranging from cognitive, speech enabled IVRs through to knowledge-base driven digital solutions such as chat-bots. I have been working extensively with Amazon Connect and its ecosystem of ancillary technologies to deliver highly personalised and customised user experiences. My experience covers every aspect of a typical transformation programme, from pre-sales, requirements gathering, solution design, through to delivery, training and early life support.
